Four projection rooms, precisely aligned for a sharp, high-contrast image and able to run any Windows application.

What we installed

Glowspace has installed projection immersive classrooms at four further education campuses. Each room is typically 7m × 7m with a 3m ceiling, projected with Epson projectors.

Image quality

Every projector is precisely aligned and blended, so the image runs continuously around the room with no visible joins. The rooms are set up for high contrast, so the image stays rich and clear rather than washed out.

Any application, not just video

Teachers are not limited to pre-made content. Any Windows application can run in the room and is automatically corrected and warped to fit the walls and floor. That includes websites, training software, simulations and 3D applications as well as video.

Simple to run

Staff control the room from a tablet or a workstation. Each room comes with playback software and a starter content library.

Interaction as an option

The walls or floor can be made interactive with camera or laser touch tracking.

How we set up each room

Every room is calibrated on site. We project test patterns across the walls and floor and adjust the geometry of each projector until the image lines up across every edge and corner.
